Terms & Conditions

Occultique · Last updated 19 June 2026

1. About These Terms

These terms govern your use of Occultique and any readings, subscriptions or other products you buy from us ("the Services"), operated by Storizzi. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Services. Contact: support@occultique.net.

2. Who Can Use Occultique

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. You're responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity under your account.

3. Readings About Other People

You can request a reading about someone other than yourself — for example a relationship or compatibility reading — which means giving us another person's details, such as their birth date, time and place.

By submitting another person's personal data you confirm that you have that person's permission, or are otherwise legally entitled to provide it and to have a reading produced about them. You are responsible for the information you provide about others, and you agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your providing it without a proper basis. If that person contacts us, or you tell us you no longer have a basis to hold their data, we will delete it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data about people other than the account holder.

4. The Nature of Our Readings

Astrology and tarot readings are provided for guidance, reflection and entertainment. They are not a substitute for professional advice and must not be relied on as medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice. You remain responsible for your own decisions. We make no guarantee that any reading is accurate, complete, or will produce a particular outcome.

5. Purchases, Subscriptions & Billing

One-off readings are charged at the price shown at checkout. Subscriptions (Starter, Plus, Premium, Ultimate, Soundbath and similar) renew automatically each billing period — monthly or annually, as you chose — at the then-current price, until you cancel.

How credits work. Some plans include recurring reading credits. On a monthly plan, each month's credits are made available for that month and expire at the end of it. On an annual plan, you have paid for the full year up front, so the year's credits are made available to you up front and remain valid until the end of your paid term.

How long your readings are kept. Generated readings are stored in your account and remain available according to the plan in force when each reading is created: Starter — 3 months; Plus — 12 months; Premium and Ultimate — for as long as your subscription stays active, and for 2 years after it ends; one-off readings and your natal birth-chart reading25 years. Each reading keeps the retention it had when it was created, so changing plan later won't shorten readings you already have. Any “keep” preference you set in your account (for example “keep forever”) applies to readings you have bought (one-off readings and your natal reading); it cannot extend a reading included with a subscription plan beyond that plan's retention above, so a plan reading may be kept for less time than such a setting suggests. After its retention period a reading may be permanently deleted — so please keep your own copy of anything important: every reading can be downloaded as a PDF, and audio narrations can be downloaded too. We honour these periods to the best of our ability under the terms in force when you subscribed or purchased; please also see section 10 on availability and keeping your own backups.

Changing your plan (upgrades & downgrades). You can change plan at any time. An upgrade takes effect immediately: we charge the pro-rated difference for the remainder of your current billing period, and your new allowances and retention apply straight away. A downgrade takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you keep what you've paid for until then, and we don't refund the difference. Either way, readings you already have keep the retention terms they were created under.

Prices are shown in your selected currency and include any taxes where applicable.

Payment processing. Card payments and subscriptions for the reading service are processed by our payment provider, Stripe; see our Privacy Policy for the details we share with them.

6. Cancellation & Your Right to Cancel

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access and any remaining current-period benefits continue until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't provide partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period.

Digital content & the 14-day cooling-off right. Where you are a consumer, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel an online purchase. Our readings are digital content supplied to you immediately. By purchasing and accessing, downloading, listening to or otherwise starting to use a reading, you expressly request that we begin supplying it straight away and you acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel and to a refund for content that has already been supplied.

7. Refunds

Readings are non-refundable once you have accessed or started using them, for the reason set out above under Cancellation — they are personalised digital content delivered to you on purchase.

Annual plans are non-refundable once products are used. Because the full year's benefits and credits are made available to you up front when you buy an annual plan, an annual subscription is not refundable once you have begun using those products; cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current term.

Nothing here removes your legal rights. If a reading is faulty, was not delivered, or was not as described, contact us at support@occultique.net and we'll put it right or provide a refund where the law requires it. We may also choose to offer a goodwill credit or refund at our discretion.

Where any reimbursement is due — including in the circumstances described in section 10 — it will be made in line with the statutory consumer rights that apply where you live, and otherwise we may offer a refund or account credit at our reasonable discretion, assessed fairly on a case-by-case basis.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services — including not attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to them, not reselling readings as your own professional service, and not using them for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services, including reader personas, voices, designs and software, belong to us or our licensors. Your reading is for your personal use; you may keep and share your own reading, but you may not copy or resell the Services or their content.

10. Liability, Availability & Keeping Your Own Copies

The Services are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on a reading, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud), and your non-excludable consumer rights are unaffected.

Availability & your own backups. We work hard to keep Occultique and your readings available and safe, but we can't promise the Services will always be uninterrupted, and we're not a permanent archive. So that you always have your readings, please keep your own copies of anything important — every reading can be saved as a PDF, and audio narrations can be downloaded too.

Events beyond our control. We won't be responsible for loss of access to, or loss of, your readings or data caused by events outside our reasonable control — for example major failures of the third-party hosting or infrastructure we rely on, cyber-attacks, natural disasters or other "force majeure" events, or the business having to cease trading or becoming insolvent. In those situations your reading content may become unavailable, which is exactly why we encourage you to download and keep your own copies. Where any reimbursement is due in such circumstances, it will be handled as set out in section 7 — in line with your statutory rights, and otherwise at our reasonable discretion. None of this affects liability that can't be excluded by law, or your non-excludable consumer rights.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including how we work with payment and AI/voice providers to deliver your readings.

Deleting your account. You have the right to erasure. You can delete your account at any time, two ways: signed in — from your account Profile, choose “Delete account”; or without signing in — at occultique.net/account/delete, enter your account email. Either way we email a confirmation link, and deletion only proceeds once you click it. Once confirmed, your account is scheduled for deletion and is then permanently erased after a 30-day cooling-off period (during which you can still cancel by emailing us): your readings and saved data are permanently removed, your subscription benefits and Soundbath premium access end, and personal details are erased or anonymised. Financial and transaction records are retained where the law requires (e.g. accounting/tax), with personal identifiers anonymised. You can also request deletion by emailing us from your account address.

12. Questions & Complaints

If you have a question, or something isn't right, please get in touch first at support@occultique.net. We'll acknowledge your message and do our best to put things right — we aim to respond within a few working days, and to resolve complaints fairly and as quickly as we reasonably can. It helps if you include your account email and any order reference.

If we can't sort it out together, as a consumer you have the right to refer the dispute, free of charge, to a consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation): CM2C – Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris (www.cm2c.net). EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Occultique Soundbath App

This section applies to the Occultique Soundbath iOS app. The app provides relaxing soundscapes; the sections above about readings, reading credits and our refund policy concern the Occultique reading service, not the app, except where they relate to an Occultique subscription you use to unlock the app.

Apple's terms also apply. The app is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including their Usage Rules. Where those Apple terms and this section conflict in relation to the app, the Apple terms govern your licence to use the app.

Premium subscription & billing. Soundbath Premium is an auto-renewing yearly subscription sold through your Apple Account. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase, and it renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings — not through Occultique. Because Apple is the merchant for in-app purchases, refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms; request them via Apple, not from us.

Free version & unlocking Premium. The app is free to use with advertising; Premium removes ads and unlocks extra features. If your Occultique subscription includes Soundbath, you may instead unlock Premium by signing in with your Occultique account — that subscription is governed by these terms and billed by us (or via Stripe), separately from any Apple purchase.

Apple's role. This agreement is between you and Storizzi only, not with Apple. Storizzi — not Apple — is solely responsible for the app and its content and for any maintenance, support, warranties or claims relating to it; Apple has no obligation to furnish support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Warranty & how to reach us. Storizzi — not Apple — is solely responsible for any warranties for the app, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the app's purchase price to you (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility, not Apple's. For support, questions, complaints or claims about the app, contact Storizzi, 14 Rue Eugène Leroy, 24300 Nontron, France at support@occultique.net.

Third-party terms. When using the app you must comply with any applicable third-party terms — for example, your mobile carrier's data-plan terms and, if you sign in, the Occultique account terms.

14. Our Climate Commitment

We care about the impact of what we build. We contribute 1% of our revenue to help remove carbon from the atmosphere, funding permanent carbon-removal initiatives through Stripe Climate. This contribution is funded by us out of our own revenue — it does not add anything to the price you pay.

15. Offers, Promotions & Discount Codes

Offers are limited and never guaranteed. From time to time we run promotions, discounts and voucher codes. Any offer is subject to availability and may be limited by time and/or by the number of vouchers available, and we may add, change, pause or withdraw any offer at any time. No offer or discount is guaranteed, and an offer being available at one moment does not entitle you to it at another. The price you pay is the discounted price shown at checkout.

One offer per product. Only one offer can apply to a given product at a time — offers and codes cannot be combined or stacked.

How codes are used. A code only applies where it is valid for the product, currency and period you are buying in, and within any usage limits (including any limit per customer). A code is only treated as used once a payment using it has completed successfully — an abandoned or failed checkout does not use up a voucher.

Affiliate & partner codes. Some codes are provided through our affiliate partners. If you apply an affiliate or partner code to a product, it takes the place of any other offer that would otherwise apply to that product; and if you then apply a different partner's code, the most recently applied code is the one that counts. The code applied, the partner it belongs to, and the before/after price are recorded with your order.

Working with affiliates. We work with trusted affiliate partners who help spread the word about Occultique and may earn a commission when you buy using their code. We do not pass your personal details on to them — they receive only the anonymous, aggregated information needed to calculate any commission they have earned. You can read more on our Affiliate Programme page and its terms.

16. Changes & Governing Law

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes. If a change may materially affect you, we'll let you know — for example by email or a notice in the app. Not every change is restrictive: as Occultique and related products such as Soundbath grow, an update sometimes adds features or benefits to your plan. If we change how reading retention works, we'll still honour, to the best of our ability, the retention that applied to your existing readings under the terms in force when you subscribed or bought them. These terms are governed by the laws of France, and the courts of France have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
